Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the BiVA application. By accessing or using BiVA, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the application.
1. Application Description
BiVA is an application developed solely to facilitate access to EBSCO informational resources by temporarily and securely collecting the user’s login credentials.
2. Collection and Use of Information
BiVA requests and uses login credentials (username and password) solely for the purpose of authenticating the user with the EBSCO service. This information:

Is used exclusively to establish an authenticated session with EBSCO.

Is not permanently stored on our servers.

Is not shared with third parties.
3. Use of Cookies
BiVA uses session cookies for the following purposes:

To manage the user’s login session status.

To improve the in-app navigation experience.
These cookies do not collect additional personal data and are not used for advertising purposes.
4. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for:

Ensuring their login credentials are valid and up to date.

Not sharing their access credentials with third parties.

Using the application in accordance with both EBSCO’s usage policies and these terms.
5. Limitation of Liability
BiVA acts solely as an intermediary to facilitate access to EBSCO. We are not responsible for:

The content, availability, or functionality of the EBSCO platform.

Authentication errors or technical issues related to third-party services.
6. Changes to the Terms
BiVA reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated within the application and will take effect immediately upon publication.
